FSC UK’s educational resources are now available in hardcopy on request from the FSC UK office (forestsfirst@fsc-uk.org). The education pack, produced with the support of Earthdreams and Garfield Weston Foundation, includes lesson plans (aimed primarily at Keystage 2 pupils), activity ideas, pledges and posters. The lesson plans look at forestry issues and then focus on FSC and the ways the pupils can help to promote responsible forestry. Given the increasing focus on sustainability within the curriculum, we hope that these packs will prove popular with teachers and pupils alike.
