Swedish company BRIO presents toys made from responsibly produced wood
© BRIOSince 1 January 2014, all wooden toys produced by Swedish company BRIO have been manufactured using Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood.
Brio has integrated environmental responsibility into its code of conduct. Labeling its products with the FSC logo is the company’s way of telling its customers that the wooden toys they buy will help ensure that children have the opportunity to enjoy both forests and wooden toys in the future.
"Our need for wood gives us an insight into the significance of preserving the world's forests and taking long term responsibility for them,” says Göran Kullberg, Head of Quality at BRIO. “Therefore we have chosen to get FSC certification for all our wooden toys."
