ASI Lifts the suspension of Quality Austria
Effective 22 November 2016, Accreditation Services International (ASI) has lifted the suspension of the certification body Quality Austria Trainings-, Zertifizierungs- und Begutachtungs GmbH (Quality Austria). The company is accredited for FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification worldwide and to date has issued approximately 60 FSC CoC certificates.
With the reinstatement, FSC now expects Quality Austria to scrupulously maintain the high standards demanded of certification bodies for its certificate holders.
The suspension of Quality Austria came into effect on 29 May 2016 and was a result of non-conformities with the ASI accreditation procedure.
