Revised Brazilian National Risk Assessment Published

Effective immediately, FSC approved a revised national risk assessment for the country of Brazil, specifically controlled wood category 4 (wood harvested in forests being converted to plantation or non-forest uses).

Content change

In Brazil, areas of non-natural forests or areas that have already been converted to plantations are classified as not applicable. These areas do not to fall within the scope of an FSC risk assessment. Previously, these had been classified as “unspecified risk”.
