Webinar: Update on the Digitalisation of FSC FM Audit Reports

FSC is working on the digitalisation of FM audit data and reporting. We now invite all stakeholders for a webinar to give an update on the project.


The aim of the project, called “FM Online”, is to streamline workflows and tackle difficulties of paperwork of forest management evaluation. At the same time digitalising the data in audit reports will allow for impact monitoring of the FSC system as such. It will also enable FSC FM standard setting groups to build their work on data from the ground. As an example, standard development groups would be able to see amounts of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) issued towards individual indicators and address unclear language or lack of guidance to address the cause of these CARs. The FM online project is based on a call from FSC members to digitalise the data in FSC audit reports, formalised through the approval of Motion 16 during the FSC General Assembly in 2017.

During the webinar we will update on project progress and ask for your input and concerns to better accommodate future needs, user friendliness, and data availability.
