Support Responsible Forestry on FSC Friday 2020

We love forests! For more than 25 years we’ve been working to take care of them for future generations. On September 25, 2020, the Forest Stewardship Council will be hosting ‘FSC Friday’ an annual event to raise awareness for FSC by encouraging consumers, companies, communities and stakeholders to share your commitment to FSC and responsible forestry - whether through forest management practices, or sourcing and buying FSC certified materials and products.

But we can’t do it alone – we need your help.

Join us on Friday September 25, and in the week leading up to it, to celebrate FSC Friday, a collective global opportunity to promote your commitment to FSC.

Forests for All Together is our theme this year. We are celebrating the importance of bringing people together to responsibly care for forests –from environmentalists to big business, from Indigenous Peoples to communitie sand governments, from forest workers to careful consumers, it is essential that we work together to care for our forests.

FSC certificate and licence holders can download the FSC Friday assets from the FSC Marketing and Communications Toolkit - just log in and search for ‘FSC Friday’. Let’s join in unison this FSC Friday to show how the actions of many can help keep our forests for all forever.

For a brief history of FSC Friday and an overview of the 2020 campaign, watch the recording of our FSC Friday Campaign Overview webinar here.

Our online Annual Members’ Meeting, held on FSC Friday, will recognise FSC UK's 25th anniversary and the importance of working together as we plan for the future. This year we invite our certificate holders and licence holders to join the meeting. Contact if you are interested in attending.
