UKWAS 4, Take Two

(© FSC UK)© FSC UKWe reported back in the November 2016 issue of Forest Matters, that the draft national forest stewardship standard for the UK, familiar to forest managers as the UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS), had not been approved by FSC International. Since then, FSC UK has worked closely with FSC International and the UKWAS Steering Group to agree further changes to the standard, and a revised draft was submitted for approval on 13 February. read more …
